How would you rate Gulf British Academy?
BEST SCHOOL EVER, BEST TEACHERS AND STAFF EVER, BEST MOST HARDWORKING STUDENTS EVERRRR!!!
Everything at school is satisfying, qualified teacher, useful activities, professional management and very good facilities Very good communication with parents and problem solving (if any)
Former Employee: Lovely students, Parts of the building are very nice but several rooms not fit for purpose. No changing rooms, pitches are tiny, internet doesn't work for some of the classrooms... More than half the staff have left this year and several others wish they had done in large part due to toxic workplace culture and lack of empathy and vision created by SLT. They are power mad and hire their friends (however incompetent, sexist and regardless of how many complaints they receive) push out anyone good, So much so they can't even hire a Head teacher (we haven't had one for an entire year...). Fines for staff at every opportunity, salaries aren't even fully paid all year round if you are a middle leader. Money and instagram comes first, children's education comes second.
In my opinion its a really good school, but there are some people that are disrespectful and really rude and the teaching is really hard without enough practice for normal people
Rules don't make any sense and don't have an effect on the students education.
Gulf British Academy has the best teachers and an amazing staff at GBA you can be yourself without being judged you can express your emotions to teachers, and you build friendships throughout the years.
Very bad staff and management. At the time of admission, They are saying they have all British teachers but later you may be surprised by other nationalities' teachers. therefore, be careful before admitting your kids to this school.
The school works hard in the students I noticed that from my son improvement

I've been in this school for 7 years (reception to grade 6) and British schools might be difficult, but it helps your mind all the subjects I've learned like Maths,comprehension,grammar,geography,s.studies,science and more and I've learned the most in my life in this school,it's just an awesome school to learn .And I believe this is a 4.5-5 star school And I will miss this school

My son is in reception and it is his first year in school. His teacher is good and nice and he is very happy. On the other hand, I am not happy at all and I'm seriously thinking about transferring him as soon as possible. The general staff are the worst sooooo rude, disrespectful, and racist. Just because we are Kuwaitis they treat us with disrespect and if we are waiting in line the priority is always for the parents of a certain nationality. When I told one of the staff that I came first they laughed at me like I'm being silly (not the first time). The majority of parents are rude and it is hard to communicate with them. It is horrible! like a nightmare.
