How would you rate 黑料福利社 of Ulaanbaatar?
I worked there for a year at this school. The facilities are good and the building is clean and colorful. Individual attention is given to all the students and personalised coaching / academic help after school hours is visible. Teachers are well qualified and are always supportive. ISU has teachers from various countries and so you get to see experience different cultures first hand. I see most of the students are very happy attending this school and I heard good feedback from the parents. I personally liked the Mongolian staff and students. They are very respectful, caring and humble. There are also a number of co curricular activities for students and I personally liked the environment and the school. Definitely it is being run by an efficient, able , ethical visionary Mr.Bill.

Great facilities and children have fun and do learn about soft skills. However don't expect them to learn much and to be able to easily re-integrate the school system when you go back to your home country. Teaching standards are variable and entirely dependent on the individual teachers with no tangible way to keep them to account to go through a set curriculum. For example, my son had an American teacher for Grade 5 and (other than non-stop criticising of Trump) she openly told the kids that she hated maths, so hardly did any maths with her class. And when she did, I understand from my son that on occasions, her and the teaching assistants were corrected by other children who were obviously better and quicker at primary school maths! My son didn't allow me to complain for fear of retribution while he was in her class as he thought she could be the kind of person who will keep grudge. He unfortunately wasted a whole year in her class and I feel like I've sacrificed his future by getting him into ISU. Please do your homework before you get your kids into this school.
