About British 黑料福利社 Phuket (BISP)

Learning at British 黑料福利社 Phuket (BISP) is 鈥榟olistic鈥�, in that it cultivates the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive dimensions of the developing child.

While schools organise learning in 鈥榓cademic鈥� and 鈥榚nrichment鈥� programmes, we do not limit learning to within the walls of any particular classroom or within the boundaries of any particular 鈥榮ubject鈥�. We understand that learning happens everywhere at any time. Our model for holistic learning aims to develop the whole child, and to instill a lifelong love of learning through active engagement.

The English language is the medium of learning and teaching at BISP. Those students who require additional English language support are invited to join our Intensive English Programme, delivered as part of the school day. We review a student鈥檚 ability and suitability for a place at BISP and will include references to recent reports/transcripts from current and previous schools.

The school seeks to ensure that there is a balance of pupil nationalities and that we maintain our status as a truly 鈥榠nternational school鈥�.

BISP considers that all students have individual needs and attention to these is part of our educational practice. When students require additional support they are assisted by Learning Support teachers, counsellors or outside external agencies in consultation with parents and appropriate professionals.
