About LIFE School
Serving both Guatemalan and International Students for more than 30 years, LIFE (Lake Atitlan International Facility for Education) School is the leading non-profit English Immersion School in Panajachel. LIFE School prides itself on providing a multi-cultural education to a diverse community.
Of our approximately 100 students,聽50% come from an indigenous Mayan background, and a large percentage of students are on a scholarship or a sponsorship. The school follows a standard global curriculum with a focus on聽multicultural understanding. In addition to giving our students a solid academic preparation, we strive to help our students grow into open-minded, aware, and fulfilled human beings.
Our curriculum is strongly ecological in orientation, committed to helping our students recognize the interconnectedness and fragility of our biosphere, and their role in helping preserve it.
