How would you rate North Broward Preparatory School (NBPS)?
My son joined North Broward as part of a soccer program. After the first trimester we realized the program was nothing that was promised and we had moved our son across country under a blanket of lies. Several other soccer students have left as well. We are not an extremely wealthy family like so many there, so we ask the school for a refund for our room and board portion of the school year he would not be there. They ignored my requests for 2 months, until I copied the head of school. I don鈥檛 understand how an organization that supposedly operates under a Honor Code could treat people like this. We were not asking for school tuition back, just room and board not used for 2/3 of the school year. They have no Honor.

The Director of residential life is great, he is very smart and kind. Also the academic coordinator of residential life is always in a good mood and always willing to help you in your grades and classes.

The BEST school in Broward County. They truly care about ALL their students. If you are worried about your child safety worry no more. Full time OFFICERS, gated school with top notch technology. Amazing college advisors department that held both my kids hands in making the best decision for their future. Don鈥檛 think twice stop by and see for yourself. Go Eagles NBPS

Run from this horrible place! Just removed my child from here after a horrific incident! No safety nor security in place! Dangerous place for your child! Kids with mild lds are pushed into their Lighthouse Point Academy! Nothing but a daycare for rich kids. A total joke. Teachers test and re test until the kids achieve a high enough grade to appease the parents. The kids are not being educated nor pushed in this program, headed up by Brandon Boston - principal and Dean Mays, both a joke! The entire system is a for profit corporation headed out of Hong Kong! Keep that in mind! Profits are the bottom line and not the kids. We found that out when our son had an issue where he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. The school issued a quick response without any due process nor parental involvement. My son was interrogated without my knowledge...Civil rights violated! This place should be shut down and I will do everything I can have my voice heard! Warn parents or prospective parents to go elsewhere! This is no prep school! This is a profit driven machine where the kids are left behind. All high school children should be educated in a warm, nurturing, loving and acadamic environment where they feel safe and secure on campus....this is not North Broward! Be warned!
