Good skl, great equipment, and a learning environment, some teachers aren't that good but overall the teachers are OK maybe it's js the students. One thing I have to say is that the cafeteria is way too overpriced, kids buy the stuff because they don't have a sense of money, also prob bc that's the only place to get hot food. But it is not js the snack bar, the cafe is also way too overpriced, 4 chicken nuggets are 16 dollars, and you can get 9 nuggets for like 20 dollars at McDonald's, and they are still better. Lower the price Chartwells stop being greedy

I've been going to this school for 7 years and I can say it's been a wild experience. I joined during third grade. First of all, let's address the students here. The many pupils you see are merely faces they put on infront of you, they work hard but some depend on "popularity" and fall after graduation. This school offers an enjoyable experience as the personalities of each students are different, and most of them are extremely nice even to outsiders. Although, I would like to comment on the "popular" kids in this school. Those students are entitled and bratty, especially the Y7s and Y9s. I heard some girl in Y7 took a break from school because of some popular girls in her grade, those girls are not only bratty but create drama over the smallest things. We need to bring an end to this and focus on shaping their personalities and knowledge!! Now let's focus on the teachers here. They're amazing and deserve more appreciation than they get normally. Throughout my PYP and MYP years, the teachers here have always made my day. Moving on, we MUST discuss the assessments and schedule we students face here. We need space, and we need time. This school is amazing at giving us this, they focus on the wellbeing of the students which is amazing and provide us with support. The reputation this school receives does not match with the memories I have made with the VSA community. Yes, some students are insufferable, but every school has that. Lunch is okay, but at least it feeds us our daily nutrition. They're so much stairs that everyday is leg day, but at least we're kept healthy and strong. Thank you to VSA who has made me happy and comfortable going to school everyday.

As a previous student of this school here are my true opinions and experience of the school. I have been a student in VSA for 10 years and my experience wasn鈥檛 bad however I believe there are better schools to send your child to. Firstly the school has poor communication between the students and parents about rules and announcement often leading to confusion between the school and parents. With constant faulty fire alarms and poor preparation and organisation for school events. Secondly the constant change of teachers with waves of teachers leaving this changes the proportion and ratio of new teachers to old teachers. Thirdly non welcoming culture for new pupils, one of my friends which joined in VSA secondary school a year ago has voiced out how she was treated poorly by other students with no one talking to her and the lack of support from her class in the beginning of the year. Students usually begin their class years at VSA since primary so new students in secondary may find it difficult to join in with the other students which have already been in the school for a longer time. The schools infrastructure however is extremely new and is quite advanced and well equipped, however these facilities may not be used by all students. Lastly I believe that this school should increase and improve on moderation between students grades as their is a large gap between classes regarding assessment averages with a lack of communication between teachers and the level students need to meet to get a satisfactory grade. But overall the grading system is biased and not the fairest. If you are considering to send your child to VSA primary school I would recommend that. However if you are planning to send you child to the VSA secondary school you should reconsider and look at other international schools. As VSA is not a diverse school with most students being chinese around 98% students being from hong kong or mainland. There are only 2-3 students in each grade that are not chinese. Therefore if you are looking for diversity VSA this is definitely not the school for you and your child.

I've been learning at VSA for 2 years now, and I must say that it is in fact, very cool, there are a lot of toilets and the learning conditions are quite comfortable, most of the teachers were nice and the ones that weren't are just a bit strict, the arts and design classes were pretty cool and actually teaches you something fun and breaks the mundanity of everyday life, the normal classes were also very cool, they might be a bit boring but we learn new stuff every unit, sports lessons were a bit lackluster, you only have one about every 3 days, but they were also fun as sometimes we go swimming in the pool, we also have science lessons where we get to do cool experiments and learn how to use a microscope and stuff. But one downside here is that the pizza does taste like cardboard, but overall, very cool.

The truth is this school is really bad and it has a dark secret ,THEY are letting pay 167,000HKD for 5 years I mean it is a overpriced priced but also I am currently a Y5 student and the Y4 and lower grades are just DOMMED I mean Y4 have no good side and rude and lower grade like Y2 know inappropriate words ,but for information some staff can be really nice for example the cleaners and good teacher but some can be bad ,5 years and the food is worse than vomit I mean it鈥檚 dog water who can agree everyone, tho school is really far away it close to a bus station so it easy for transportion but the truth is this school is bad so don鈥檛 risk it

Kids watch too much YouTube in class and even though chartwells is disgusting they still buy a lot of food from them... but then the teachers are nice except for a few....Boy on my left, girls on my right

I got a fever and a stomach ache when I ate the food, but there are nice teachers in the school, some that actually respond when I say hi.

As a student of this school, there鈥檚 too many bad kids to exist in this school. Students often swear and talk about private parts in my grade, not just my grade, but people from primary as well (told by friends at school). Teachers are respectful but the food and students are the downside of this school. I鈥檇 rather move to a local school with the same education in Canada.

Overall OK, but I think the food is gross. The fries are soggy, the burgers are like pork croquettes. Prefects all think they're the boss like Donald Trump or Boris Johnson. Drama teacher sarcastic.
